Our magical, mysterious world; so many questions, so much to learn... But we're here, on this nurturing, generous, life-giving planet, and we can just make the best of it, every day, by being good to our planet, and taking care of "her", like she takes care of us. We need to be aware of our carbon footprint, and what and how much we consume, and then, how we discard it... We need to bring up children that acknowledge this miracle of a planet, and want to see all the diversity of nature's ecosystem and its creatures thrive - for generations to come!

Seeing lots of excited posts by @homewardboundprojects HB3 participants in their @kathmandugear jackets. It’s getting so close to their Antarctic expedition and leadership adventure. One of the things I loved about my expedition with HB2 was seeing how others reacted to the beauty, isolation and vulnerability of Antarctica. It’s such a powerful place that creates so much emotion, descriptions and photos can struggle to do it justice ❄️💙
I had the chance to be an observer last week at the @CIHR_IRSC Project Grant review. I wrote a thread with the top 10 things I learned that could increase chances to get a grant as an early career researcher.
